Freeland volleyball had contests against Swan Valley this evening. The 7th grade White team won going 25-19, 25-20 and then 11-15. The Green team lost in the contest 10-25, 25-27, 13-15 to Swan Valley. 

The Freeland 8th Grade white team beat Swan Valley 20-25, 25-23, and 25-18. Claire Jimkoski had 9 aces, Mollie Northrup had 7 aces, while Lauryn Schultz had 4 kills. We saw great things during the game from Mckenna Tomaszewski, while Mollie Northrup and Alexis Heinz were running a great offense for the white team! 

The green team lost to Swan Valley 25-19, 21-25, and 24-26 in an intense match. Emma Deshone had 4 aces, Alexis Waldie had 3 aces, Cali Robinson had 5 kills, McKenna Koehler had 4 kills and 1 block, and Georgia Henning had 2 blocks in the contest. Alexis and Abigail Walker played a phenomenal backrow this evening for the Falcons. 

Freeland Volleyball hosted Nouvel Catholic Central yesterday. The Freeland White Team went 25-23, 23-25, and 15-25 in the loss to NCCS. Kaci Clawson had 8 aces. 

The Freeland 8th Grade Green Team won the contest defeating NCCS 25-11, 25-23, and 25-15. Cali Robinson led all attackers with 9 kills and 8 aces. Jozelynn Begick had 6 kills and 2 aces, Georgia Henning had 4 kills and McKenna Koehler with 3 kills on the night. 

Freeland Middle School vs Alma

Freeland Middle School Volleyball played Alma today! The 7th grade defeated the panthers, 

25-19, 25-16, 15-7. And then 25-22, 23-25, and 15-8! Kaci Clawson had 14 aces! 

Freeland 8th grade won as well, the white team won 25-8, 25-13 and 25-15. Lauryn Schultz had 3 kills,  Mollie Northrup had 9 aces and Sophie Koepf had 6 aces on the night. 

The green team won 22-25, 25-19, and 25-15. McKenna Koehler came up big at the net with 7 kills, while Jozelynn Begick had 6 aces and Cali Robinson with 5 aces. 

Freeland 7th grade defeated Ithaca. White team won 25-16, 25-10, 25-13 and the Green team won 22-25, 25-13, 25-9.

Freeland 8th Grade defeated Ithaca. The White team won 25-22, 12-25, 25-19. Claire Jimkoski and Mollie Northrup had 6 aces each, Isabel Reinke and Molly Poplawski each had 5 aces. Sophia Koepf, Claire and Isabel each had 2 kills.

The Green team won 25-15, 25-10, and 25-20. Georgia Henning had 6 aces to lead at the service line, while Emma Deshone and Jozelynn Begick had 4 aces. Cali Robinson was a force at the net with 6 kills. 

Freeland 8th Grade defeated Bridgeport 25-8, 25-11, and 25-9 in the contest today. 

Jozelynn Begick had 18 aces on the evening to lead at the service line. Bailee Gillham had 8, Cali Robinson had 7, and Georgia Henning had 6 aces a piece. 

Freeland 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams played Frankenmuth today. The 7th graders were at home playing and the White Team went 21-25, 16-25, 9-25. The Green Team went 9-25, 14-25, 18-25 on the evening. 

The 8th grade teams were away, the White Team went 25-18, 20-25, 25-12 for the win. Isabel Rienke had 9 aces and Mollie Northrup had 7 aces for the White Team. We saw great things from McKenna Tomasweski  and Sophia Koepf in the front row during the match. The Green Team went 14-25, 19-25, 22-55 in the loss. Each game the Falcons improved on the evening. Bailee Gillham had 6 aces in the contest. McKenna Koehler continues to get stronger in the middle with lots of great hits and blocks. Abigail walker played a great back-row for the Falcons on the evening.

Freeland 8th grade teams defeated Bullock Creek tonight. 

Our White team(B) won 24-12, 25-14, 25-7. Isabel Reinke served 19 points! Sophia Koepf, Mollie Northrup, Molly Poplowski had some killer serves. It was great to watch everyone play. 

Our Green team(A) won 25-15, 25-9, 25-16 with had a great team win! Abigail Walker, Cali Robinson, Emma Deshone had some great serves! McKenna, Georgia and Jozelynn had some awesome attacks! The girls played extremely well for the their first time on the court this year. We are excited to watch them grow this year. 

7th grade Green won all three sets, and the White team lost 2 won 1 set against Bullock Creek.

Freeland vs. Standish

The 7th grade team lost the First and second set: 27-25, 25-23 but won the Third set: 15-11

The 8th graders won the match. They won the first set 25-3 with 7 aces from Jozelynn Begick. They won the second set 25-16 Mollie Northrup and Cali Robinson had 3 aces apiece. The Falcons won the third 15-9 with tons of great rallies.

Freeland vs. John Glenn

The 7th grade team battled on the court with John Glenn in some really close games 21-25, 13-25, 20-25.

The Freeland 8th grade team won their match, 25-21, 25-14, 25-7. Emma DeShone had a long service run in the 3rd set leading the FMS Falcons. McKenna Koehler did a great job at the net for the Falcons.
