FNV Wins

The FNV Griffins hockey team played last night against Eastern Thumb Area Legion and came away with a 5-4 win!
1st period started out slow giving up 2 unanswered goals but the team came back with a vengeance.
In the 2nd period, FNV pulled off 3 goals - Luke Watz from Tristan Pohl and Lance Karwat, Tristan Pohl from Luke Watz, and Thomas Jacoby from Lance Karwat. Legion managed to answer with one of their own, tying it 3-3 at the end of the 2nd. In the 3rd period, Legion scored in the first two minutes to take them ahead but FNV was not done. FNV scored two more goals - Tristan Pohl unassisted and Sean O'Grady from Tristan Pohl and Gibby Davis - and, with 7 minutes left in the game, FNV held Legion off to take the win.
