District Baseball Wrap Up

The Freeland Falcons defeated Bullock Creek 3-2 in 8 innings in the district semi-final. Daniel Duley was the winning pitcher with 2 innings of 1-hit relief with 3 strikeouts. Starter Jacob Kowalski threw 6 innings allowing 2 runs, 0 earned and struck out 6. Ryan Quackenbush drove in Tucker Hileman with a sac fly in the 8th inning for the winning run. Quackenbush had another base hit and RBI.
I'm the final John Glenn beat Freeland 3-1. Luke McLaren took the loss for Freeland allowing 3 runs on 5 hits in 2.2 innings. Daniel Duley threw 3.1 innings of no-hit relief and struck out 4. Garrett Leppek had an RBI double to lead the offense. Colin Dee and Quackenbush each added hits.
The Falcons finished 25-11-1.
