The Freeland Falcons varsity girls soccer team faced off against a strong Frankenmuth Eagles squad this evening. Frankenmuth found the back of the net once in the first half and added two more in the second despite some solid defensive efforts by the Falcons.
Final score: Freeland 0 - Frankenmuth 3.

What a comeback for our Freeland Varsity Girls Soccer team this afternoon. 
We took on the tough Swan Valley Vikings and went into halftime down 2-0. But our Falcons showed grit and heart in the second half!
Right out of the break, Reese Conlee buried a penalty kick to get us on the board. Moments later, Abbie Johnson slotted one into the net to level the match!
Swan Valley answered quickly with another goal, but Reese Conlee wasn’t done as she found the back of the net again to bring it even at 3-3!
With the clock winding down, Cessally Fichtner finished a beautiful play and scored the next goal with just 2:30 left on the clock, giving us the lead for the first time all game!
Amazing hustle, teamwork, and perseverance from start to finish.

The Freeland Falcons varsity soccer team battled the John Glenn Bobcats in a hard-fought match tonight. Despite the chilly temps and gusty winds, the energy was high and the competition fierce.
In the second half, #2 Cessaly Fichtner put the Falcons on the board with a strong goal, followed later by another impressive strike from Delaney Seeburger.
The Bobcats responded with a goal at 15:24, followed by a successful penalty kick. With just 2:30 left on the clock, John Glenn secured the win with a final goal, ending the game 3-2 in favor of the Bobcats.

The Freeland Varsity Girls Soccer team secured a 4-1 win over Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers. The Lady Falcons struck early with senior #13 Audrey Mueller scoring, assisted by Mollie Johnson. Junior Cessaly Fichtner then added a goal, assisted by Mueller, giving Freeland a 2-0 lead. Nouvel responded with a goal 10 minutes into the game, but Fichtner scored twice more, with assists from Abbie Johnson and Mueller, completing her hat-trick. Strong defensive play and key saves from the goalkeeper helped Freeland maintain control and secure the victory.
