Freeland 50 Mount Pleasant 37

Karie Keefer got the lady Falcons off to a strong start providing 10 first quarter points. Freeland took a 16 to 11 lead in the first. 

Addie Seemann got things going in the second quarter scoring 4 points. Lauren LaFond and Megan Hemgesberg also combined to chip in for 4 points in the second. Freeland took a 25 to 19 lead into the half. 

After a competitive third quarter Freeland led 29 to 26 after three. 

The lady Falcons finished strong in the fourth with Karie Keefer and Addie Seemann combing for 16 points in the quarter. Haven Vasold hit a nice three and Freeland finished on top 50-37. 

Karie Keefer and Addie Seeman combined for 32 points and 26 rebounds . Haven Vasold provided 10 points and Lauren LaFond 4 steals and 8 rebounds. 

Freeland 56 Bridgeport 10 

Haven Vasold got the Falcons going early providing scoring with 6 first quarter points. Lauren LaFond got into the action with 4 points in the first. Freeland took a 19-0 advantage after one. 

Catherine Mueller provided a spark in the second quarter with solid rebounding. Catherine finished with 7 rebounds in the game. The Falcons used that advantage to take a 29 to 2 lead into halftime. 

Karie Keefer got hot in the third quarter providing 5 points including a nice three-point shot. Maggie Elliot stepped in for some outstanding defense with three blocked shots. Freeland took a 42 to 8 lead into the fourth . 

Megan Hemgesberg provided solid passing and Avery Mantei got hot in the fourth providing 7 points in the quarter to help Freeland finish on top 56 to 10. 

Addie Seemann had a nice double double with 10 points and 12 rebounds. 

Karie Keefer added 15 points and 8 assists 

Freeland 43 Hemlock 39

Freeland and Hemlock had a competitive first quarter with Hemlock taking an 11-10 advantage. 

Karrie Keefer and Addie Seeman got Freeland going early combining for 9 points. 

Jenna Kowalski and Haven Vasold both connected in threes in the second quarter to help Freeland take a 27-19 advantage at halftime. 

Hemlock had a strong third quarter to tie the game 31-31 going into the fourth. 

The fourth quarter set up for an exciting finish as Lauren LaFond provided two big buckets late in the quarter and Paige Kloha stepped to the line to make two free throws in the closing seconds to help her team finish strong. 

Karie Keefer finished with 15 points and Lauren LaFond followed with 9 points. 

Addie Seemann led with 7 rebounds. 

Freeland 43 Garber 40

Freeland traveled to Garber on Friday night and were met with a hot start from the home Garber team as they took a 10-2 first quarter lead. Paige Kloha knocked down a couple of free throws in the quarter to get the Falcons on the board. 

Karie Keefer and Lauren LaFond got the team going in the second quarter combing for 10 points as Freeland went into the half down 16 to 15. 

Garber had a strong third quarter as they took a 30-24 lead. Haven Vasold connected on a nice three-point shot in the third to help keep Freeland close . 

Freeland rallied in the fourth quarter as Avery Mantei hit on a huge three to give her team the lead. Jenna Kowalkski, Lauren LaFond, Paige Kloha and Karie Keefer also provided fourth quarter scoring . 

Karie Keefer led with 15 points followed by Lauren LaFond with 11. 

Megan Hemgesberg and Lauren LaFond combined for 20 rebounds for Freeland. 

Paige Kloha led with 5 steals. Megan Hemgesberg led with 4 assists.
