Freeland vs Hemlock
Game one-
Freeland lady falcons won the first game of the non-conference double header at Hemlock, 14-4. The falcon's offense was on fire all game collecting 18 hits. Sophia Price, Jenna Kowalski, and Addie Steffen led the team with 3 hits apiece. Price had two doubles and Kowalski has one double. Steffen left the yard with a massive home run. Price and Steffen totaled 3 rbi's each. Avery Mantei, Jessica Meyette, Emma Deshone, and Madeline Mcdonald contributed with two hits apiece. Brielle Coffey, Isabel Cumper, and Sophia Price combined for a 6-hit victory pitched in the circle. " We responded well to the grind of back-to-back doubleheaders."
Game two-
The Lady falcon's loss game two of the evening, 9-5. Jenna Kowalski went 3-4 at the plate including two doubles to lead the offense with Brynn Jaime and Jessica Meyette tailing two hits. Addie Steffen added a home run and Avery Mantei tailed two rbi's. Brielle Coffey took the loss in the pitching circle. "We battled the exhaustion of back-to-back doubleheaders well; Hemlock was just better in game two."
FHS is 17-18 overall and 7-5 in the TVC.
