Freeland vs Cass City
Freeland lady falcons lost the first game of the Saturday tri at FHS, 10-5. Jessica Meyette led the offense with 2 hits. Jenna Kowalski also helped the offense with 1 hit and 3 walks in the contest. Isabel Cumper and Brielle Coffey pitched a solid game in the circle, unfortunately our defense was off point today.
Freeland vs Traverse City St. Francis
The Lady falcons rebounded with a win in game two of the afternoon, 17-2. Addie Steffen went 4-4 at the plate to lead the offense with Madeline Mcdonald, Jenna Kowalski, and Emma Deshone tailing three hits. Madeline Mcdonald added a home run. Brielle Coffey recorded the win in the pitching circle. "We cleaned up our defense and played for each other. It was a good win against a very good team"
FHS is 14-17 overall and 5-5 in the TVC.
