Freeland vs Frankenmuth
Game One- The lady Falcons lost a 6-inning run rule shortened game, 17-4. Jenna Kowalski led the offense with two hits including a double and a home run. Sophia Price took the loss in the circle. "We didn't play our best defensive game tonight and that gave our opponent too many extra opportunities. Frankenmuth is a solid team, and you can't play defense the way we did and expect to hang around."
Game Two - The lady Falcons, determined to redeem themselves from game one, played a clean defensive game to win 11-9 in the second game of the night. Jenna Kowalski led the offense with a four-hit game, including two singles, a double and a home run. Grace Deshone and Madeline McDonald each added two hits. Grace Deshone and Brynn Jaime each had a home run as well. Brielle Coffey threw a complete game in the circle for the win. "Tonight was a team effort. It was great to see them playing for each other."
Freeland is now 11-16 overall and 5-5 in the TVC.
