Freeland vs Beal City
Game One- The lady Falcons lost in a 6-inning run rule shortened game, 13-1. Jessica Meyette led the offense with a double. Jenna Kowalski led the defensive effort. Aubrie Ayers took the loss in the pitching circle. "Beal City dominated us both offensively and defensively in this game. We have a lot of areas to improve on."
Game Two - The lady Falcons lost in the second game of the night 5-4, losing in the bottom of the seventh on a walk off. Jenna Kowalski and Emma Deshone led the offense with a double apiece. Sophia Price produced a timely hit in her varsity appearance. Brielle Coffey took the loss in the pitching circle with a very good effort. "I loved how the team rallied back from game one tonight. Unfortunately, we couldn't finish it."
Freeland is now 8-11 overall and 4-4 in the TVC.
