Key players in the first half included Blake Traver and Colin Earls who looked sharp throughout. In the second half Hudson Kenney would score a brilliant volley into the top left corner to put Freeland three to the good. JV Travels to Valley Lutheran

Posted on 08/23/2024

Playing the second game of the season the younger Falcons put on a great first half display where they dominated duels, kept Lutheran in their own half throughout and peppered the opposition's goal. Hudson Kenney made some lung busting runs down the right side and put some dangerous crosses into the box where Carter Williston, Colin Earls and Sam Moeller continued to meet them. However Resolute defending and expert goalkeeping kept Freeland and Saginaw level at the break. In the second half Lutheran began to look like the brighter team and managed to find a way past Freeland in the form of a penalty kick which they tucked away into the corner of the goal. Despite the Falcons best efforts they could not find the goal that they deserved and the Chargers JV received an excellent result.
