The Freshman Falcons traveled to Bay City John Glenn and claimed a 16-8 victory over the
Bobcats. The Falcons would recover a fumble on the opening kickoff and would score on a 21-
yard touchdown run by Ryan Watkins. Watkins would add the 2-point conversion making it 8-0
Falcons. John Glenn would fumble again on their next possession and Jace Lindauer of the
Falcons would recover. It would not take long for the Falcons to score as Nico Goodenough
would rumble 33 yards for a touchdown. The 2-point conversion would be no good making it
14-0 Falcons. The score would remain that way until the 3 rd quarter when the Falcons would
record a safety on the Bobcats, making it 16-0 Falcons. John Glenn would score on a long run
and would be successful in the 2-point conversion making it 16-8, which would also be the final
score.
The Falcons would recover 4 fumbles on the evening and have an interception to end the game.
Falcons recovering fumbles were: Jace Lindauer, Nolan Cunningham, Ryan Watkins, and Noah
MacDonald. Nico Goodenough had the int for the Falcons. Lindauer would lead all tacklers
with 6.
Offensively the Falcons were led by Ryan Watkins who had 7 carries for 42 yards, Eli Humpert
would have 5 carries for 34 yards, and Nico Goodenough would have 7 carries for 33 yards.
Robbie Mularz would throw for 54 yards on 2/5 throwing. Noah MacDonald had one catch for
48 yards.
The Falcons wrap up their season on the road as they will travel to Laingsburg to face their JV
team on Thursday October 19 th with a 6:00pm kickoff.
