Just one day after being victorious over the Oilers of Mt. Pleasant, Freeland traveled to Bridgeport to resume their TVC slate. It was a slow start to the game, with Freeland taking a 9-7 lead after one. The Falcons defense clamped down and got multiple transition layups in the second quarter to extend the lead to 26-13 as both teams took to the halftime locker room.
Out of the break, the Falcons doubled up the Bearcats in the third, outscoring them 12-6 and taking a 38-19 lead into the final quarter. In the fourth, Freeland withstood the run from the host Bearcats, holding on to a 46-33 victory.
Jackson Puvalowski led all scorers with 16 points, while Eli Humpert and Coven Vasold chipped in 6 points apiece.
Freeland improves their record to 3-1, 2-0 in TVC, and now plays their last game of the calendar year on Monday, December 18th, as they host Saginaw Heritage.
