Our varsity wrestling team captured the Brighton Team Wrestling Tournament this past Saturday, finishing with a 5-0 record. The team defeated DeWitt, Grand Ledge, Jackson NW, Napoleon and Brighton. The championship match against Brighton came down to a tie breaker, in which Freeland won based on a greater number of pins during the match.
Undefeated wrestlers for the day were, Malachi Hill, Joseph Klopf, Fabian Facundo, Noah Graham and Gibby Shepard.
