Freeland vs John Glenn

Freeland varsity volleyball defeated John Glenn last night to remain tied for 2nd place in the conference with a 4-2 record. They are 19-10-6 so far this season with a home quad this evening versus Ovid-Elsie, Bay City Central, and TC St. Francis.

The Falcons won the match 25-16, 25-27, 25-17, 25-18. Last night, Maggie Elliott led the team with 16 kills and 20 digs, Chloe Winchell with 11 kills. Lily Hileman came in clutch at the service line with 7 aces on the night. Mia Maxwell ended the evening with a team high 24 digs.

 Freshman and JV also won their matches last night, JV won in two going 25-13 and 25-19. 

Freeland at Team Buddy Invite

Freeland traveled to New Lothrup for the Team Buddy Invitational. 

Freeland went 2-1-1 on the day, splitting with Clio in pool play, and defeating Byron and Laingsburg. Freeland was seeded #1 in their pool and #3rd overall in the tournament. 

During bracket play, Freeland lost to Clio in 3 sets. 

Leaders for the Falcons were Maggie Elliot with 32 kills, Chloe Winchell with 10 blocks, and Laken LeBaron with 40 assists and 9 aces.
