Freeland Falcons traveled north to take on the Falcons of Ogemaw Heights.

After 10 minutes of feeling each other out Freeland struck first when junior Owen Senkowski took the punt of keeper Dale Williamson the length of the field for the 1-0 lead.

It took less then 60 seconds for Freeland to find the second goal. It was Senior Ethan Gosen with a fantastic individual effort to put Freeland up 2-0.

Just a couple mins later junior Derek Prast placed a corner kick right on the head of Senior Jake Loeffler and the 3-0 lead.

In the 29th minute Freeland was on the attack again. Senior Luke Farminer found himself deep in the goal box. As Farminer battled for the ball it crossed the line giving Freeland the 4-0 lead going into the half.

Ogema Heights didn't pay down finding their first goal in the 45th minute and their 2nd off a PK in the 54th minute.

Freeland would not waiver as Gosen netted his 2nd and 3rd goals off assists from Senkowski and Max Farminer. Freeland wins 6-2.

Freeland advances to the District finals vs Gladwin at 4:30pm on Thursday
