Freeland opened up district play with pinconning.

Freeland controlled possession from the start, but were held scoreless for the first 15 minutes.

Scoring opened in the 15th minute when junior Derek Prast found freshman Jackson Puvalowski at the top of the 18.  Puvalowski took a touch to set up the left footed strike and goal.

Less than a minute later it was junior Owen Senkowski on the right wing placing a beautiful cross into the box that was finished by senior Ethan Gosen for the 2-0 lead.

Near the end of the first half Senkowski took a ball from midfield and around a couple defenders for the third Falcon goal.

The second half continued to be all Freeland. 

Freeland's 4th goal came when Senkowski collected an sloppy keeper clearance for his second goal of the night.  

The 5th came from Puvalowski collecting a rebound for his second of the night.

Shortly thereafter senior Amani Niedzielski found Gosen who became the third Falcon with 2 goals on the night.

The Falcons defense, led by keeper Devin "Dale" Williamson, earned the shutout and 6-0 victory.

Freeland moves on to play the winner of Ogema Heights vs Garber next week. Game time and location TBD.
