An overcast night set the stage for the Falcons looking to avenge an early season loss to the John Glenn Bobcats.

The first half saw back and forth action but both teams were held scoreless.

The second half started in the Falcon favor.  In the 43rd minute, Freeland started a counterattack that ended with Junior Max Farminer crossing a ball to fellow junior Zane Stanusek who put the Falcons up 1-0.

Just a few minutes later, following a Freeland corner kick, freshman Jackson Puvalowski turned and fired from the 18 to beat the keeper.  2-0 Freeland.

John Glenn would not go away quietly. In the 52nd minute the Bobcats were granted and PK which they converted to close the gap to 2-1. The game continued back and forth as the rain fell.  With 12 minutes to go Freeland was forced to play a man down for the remainder of the game.

They gave maximum effort but they were not able to keep John Glenn out of the net as the game was tied in the 75th minute.  

It was a hard fought 80 minutes that ended in a 2-2 tied.

JV won by the score of 8-0.

The Falcons hit the road Wednesday as the travel to Alma for a 4:30 kickoff.
