Freeland welcomed the Mt Pleasant Oilers for a sunny Saturday noon kickoff.
The first half was back and forth with both teams creating chances. The Oilers were the only ones to capitalize on a chance with a nifty touch from the 6yd line for the 1-0 halftime lead.
Second half was a quick Oiler start when they scored on a through ball just a minute into the half. The Falcons continued to battle but could not find the back of the net. A late Mt Pleasant goal made the final score 3-0
The Falcons are back in action Monday night when John Glenn comes to town. 5pm JV/7pm Varsity.
The JV game ended in a 1-0 Mt Pleasant victory.
