The Falcons were back in action Monday when they invited Bay Western for the 7pm contest.

Western wasted no time, scoring just 21 seconds into the match. 5 minutes later they scored their second goal on a PK.

In the 19th minute Freeland settled in and started an attack from midfield.   Freshman Nathan Anaya received a pass out on the right wing who slid it across the box where Josh Colpaert finished the job and cut the lead in half. 3 minutes later after a scrum around the Western 18 yard line, Freshman Jackson Puvalowski fought off 3 Western defenders finding the ball and put it in the back of the net to tie the game 2-2.

Freeland kept up the intensity in the 2nd half.  3 mins into the half Puvalowski found Junior Derik Prast who scored to give the Falcons their first lead of the night.  Then in the 56th minute Freeland earned a free kick at the edge of the box.  It was Prast again finishing the free kick to increase the lead to 2 goals. Western wasn't done finding a goal to close the gap to a single goal. The remainder of the game stayed scoreless thanks to some fantastic defense by center backs Jake Loeffler and Austin Kloha giving the Falcons a 4-3 victory!!

Freeland is back in action Wednesday when the travel to John Glenn for a 4:30 kick off.
