Game One- The lady Falcons won in a 4-inning run rule shortened game, 19-4. Madeline McDonald and Emma Deshone led the high-powered offense with three hits apiece. Madeline included 2 doubles and Addie Steffen and Aubrie Ayers each had two hits. Jenna Kowalski, Madeline McDonald, and Grace Deshone tallied 3 rbi's each. Aubrie Ayers threw a 4-hit gem to secure the win. " Madeline and Emma were outstanding at the plate tonight and Aubrie is quickly growing into a solid pitcher on the mound.
Game Two - The lady Falcons stormed back after trailing by 9 runs early in the game to win 19-13in game two Madeline McDonald and Emma Deshone led the falcons offensively with 2 hits apiece. Madeline hit a huge homerun late in the game to help secure the win. Madeline, Avery Mantei, and Grace Deshone each had 2 rbis in the contest. Aubrie Ayers got the win in the pitching circle with aa outstanding 4 inning relief appearance. "The girls showed great teamwork in battling back from a large deficit. Aubrie gets better every time she steps on the mound and it's fun to see."
Freeland is now 8-9 overall and 4-4 in the TVC.
