Freeland vs Goodrich
Game One- The lady Falcons took game one of the Goodrich tournament from the host team and #6 ranked Goodrich Martians 11-0. Freeland's offense totaled 14 hits in the shortened run rule game. Emma Deshone, Madeline McDonald, and Jessica Meyette each had 3 hits with Emma also adding 3 rbi's. Brielle Coffey added a 3-run home run. Aubrie Ayers and Brielle Coffey combine in the circle for the shutout including 4 strikeouts. "The entire team contributed to this dominate win offensively and defensively."
Game Two - The lady Falcons fell in game two of the tournament to Detroit County Day 15-13. The falcons couldn't hold the lead late in the game unfortunately. Offensively, the lady falcons continued to be productive. Jenna Kowalski went 3-4 in the game with two home runs and 7 rbi's. Grace Deshone pounded two doubles. Brielle Coffey and Aubrie Ayers teamed up in the circle for the loss. "We competed with some very good teams today, this group of girls have only scratched their capabilities."
Freeland is now 6-7 overall and 2-2 in the TVC.
