The Freeland baseball team split a key Tri-Valley Conference doubleheader at 7th ranked Swan Valley last night winning game one 8-6. The Falcons lost game two 6-1 in the nightcap which was called on darkness after 5 innings.
Colin Dee was the winning pitcher with 5 innings of relief allowing two runs on four hits and struck out two. Liam Rump had two hits and three RBI for the Falcons. Connor Lasceski was 2-3 with an RBI and Karson Worth had a hit and 2 RBI.
Lasceski took the loss in the nightcap allowing 5 runs, 3 earned in 4 and 1/3 innings. Brady Shavrnoch was 2-3.
The Falcons are 8-2 (3-1 TVC) and host Meridian Friday.
