Freeland defeats Alma 60-44
The JV Falcons moved their record to 5-4 on the season with a road win against the Panthers. It was a back and forth game for most of the night, but strong final frame was the difference.
The Falcons took early leads of 12-11 and 31-26 after the 1st and 2nd quarters. Alma pulled ahead 36-35 earlier in the 3rd quarter, but the Falcons locked in defensively and controlled the boards the rest of the way. The final run of the game was 25-8 in favor of the Falcons.
Max Heyn led the way with a season high 23 points, followed by Ross Farrell with 11 points, and Zander Wheatley had 8 points. The Falcons had 8 players score on the night.
The JV Falcons are back in action on Thursday at 5:30 against Swan Valley.
